"Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate,
but that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.
And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give
other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
our presence automatically liberates others."
Chapter 7, Section 3 (Pg. 190-191).
With that said, I think acting beyond our fear is one way to go about our daily lives. To deal what is in front of us; accept the pain and as well as the fear to love again. Yes, I am strong beyond measure and I should not let people consciously let people tell me otherwise. Only God can judge me. Flaws isn't everything; I am not perfect.
Yes, I should've have been aware of this in my twenty three years of existence but then again... sometimes, you just don't really learned until multiple failed attempts. Self love.
Just have to remember: that at one point, it's what you wanted. It may not have not been the way I wanted it to go in the end but here I am, moving forward. As someone told me, "The past is history. The future is a mystery. And the present is a gift. So, cherish it." EXACTLY.
